“Let’s begin from the beginning. We’re going to be talking about the letters and their meanings, their shapes, their numerical values… it’s going to get deep. And you will in fact see that the very alphabet of this Divine language can teach us some very profound truths about Judaism, about life, and about the universe. Ready?”

Thus begins a journey between two travelers on their way to a grand destination. Won’t you come along?

I found the work extremely interesting… The breadth and depth of the presentation is truly impressive.

A fascinating work that, I am sure, will open its readers' minds to the depth and beauty of the Torah and of the Hebrew language.

  1. An exploration of the meaning of life through the first ten letters of the alphabet.

    100%
Using his own literary alter egos, Jake and Professor Miller, the author authentic voice pulls us into an exploration of the riddle about the meaning of our existence. The author confesses that the topic fascinates and that the letters are a springboard for dialogue with the readers on their observation of and about the world. He actually gives the readers his email so they can reach out to him to challenge, question and comment on his ideas.
If I was intimidated when thinking I am about to embark on a path of seeking meaning of my world by reading about ideas of Jewish theology, I was pulled in from the first paragraph, in which I laughed hard as I met the bumbling professor waddling over from the airport security table shoes, belt, laptop, phone tumbling onto the floor. The dialogues are witty and I believe that the insights and information are accessible and valuable to readers at any point on their journey to make meaning of their lives.
A valuable and good read. ENJOY
