- Must have, must read, must discuss. The perfect gift.I picked up a copy of this book last year in Jerusalem (at the bookstore by the Meir). I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is clear and concise. When I got back to Florida, some members of my shul expressed interest in this book, so I bought two extra copies and gifted them to these individuals. Now my rabbi wants to start a discussion group using this book.

- A great, concise book with which anyone can learn the laws of Shabbos.I bought this book at the bookstore by the Mir Yeshiva in Mea She'arim in Jerusalem. I have since bought 2 more copies to give as gifts. I may buy 10 more – we may start a nightly study session – remember only 3 minutes a day!
The title might lead one to think that the book glosses over the material. The material is concise, easy to read and user friendly. I’m not a Rabbi, Gabbai or Torah Scholar - I’m just me – about 5 years into being a baal teshuva. You can truly learn the laws of Shabbos in 3 minutes a day. In fact, you may cover a whole week in one day.
Recommendation – don’t try to jump too far ahead – read the material, make notes – especially for vocabulary and terms that are new.
