With the rise of cyberbullying and cases of suicide resulting from it, the devastation that young people can do to one another via both physical and verbal bullying and shaming has gained ever greater prominence. Bullied details the negative impact of bullying on not only the victim, but the bully him or herself and on those who witness the pain being inflicted and do nothing. In doing so, she has performed a valuable service, all the more so by packaging her message in a good read that will hold the attention of readers from the opening pages to the final surprise.
