The Sefer Beis Meir is an accepted classic by all poskim, who rely on it extensively in their rulings; in the words of the Chasam Sofer "This Gaon (Rav Posner)is a genius in our generation, and we follow his lead in most of his rulings." The sefer connects the in-depth learning of the gemara,and the views of the Rishonim, with the final Halachic ruling. Although first published during the author's lifetime, over the past 150 years, many mistakes have crept in, and we are proud to present a new editionwith many printing errors corrected, many references added, citations completed, and additional helpful punctuation marks.
