Bentzion is disappointed: he has been looking forward to camp the year of his bar mitzvah for as long as he can remember. Shloimy's wonders what's with his little brother. Why can't he do his share of the family chores? However, when his parents explain that Chaim has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, everything makes sense. But that starts Shloimy thinking: why can't everyone have initials after their names indicating what's special about them? It sounds like a good idea, but when Shloimy puts it into practice, things don't go exactly as planned...

Reva Rubenstein's stories speak to kids dealing with life in today's world as they juggle contemporary society and our Torah heritage. With a perfect blend of humor and sensitivity, this collection has something for everyone.

i always appreciate a story with a message - something to think about. in these stories, an ideal or concept is cleverly embedded...and surfaces later, while thinking about the story. although i am a grandmother, i enjoyed this collection, and so did my daughter.
