Can one family, set in its ways, deal with the changes and challenges it must face over the course of one summer?

With three children in shidduchim and an ill parent, Tova and Avner Lehrfeld have their hands full. But they're about to get more than they bargained for, as each new challenge becomes a new opportunity for growth. Would changing family dynamics and giving up a few dreams be in the Lehrfelds' best interests? Should Tova and Avner reconsider what they want for their family? Is insistence on the status quo merely a cover-up for their fear of change?

Join Tova, Avner and the whole family as they push past their comfort zones and navigate toward a deeper understanding of who they are - and whom they are capable of becoming.

This true-to-life drama offers a captivating reading experience as it carries you through the emotions and dilemmas of one family facing a critical crossroad in life.

"Sometimes, the biggest favor we can do for our kids is to push them past what they feel they can do. It's a little uncomfortable, but it helps them grow. Would any mother hold her child back?"

I agree with Prag. When I read it in the Mishpacha, it was clear and easy to follow. It's suspenseful without being a "thriller," which I find are often unrealistic.

    Loved it!

Absolutely enjoyed reading this story from cover to cover.

I loved the way the whole book is focused around one (small) family , who most of the time seem to be in one place.
it was refreshing to focus on a few central characters rather than tens of characters as is common in fiction.

It makes for a very fluent and stress-free reading.
