Between the Lines

I read the book and it is very good. What really struck a cord was the portrayal of Adina, who is someone struggling to be seen as an individual, and her backlash at this takes place on a religious front. She struggles with being religious but deep down realizes that it's just her way to get attention - - but she's not getting the attention she craves, and so, falls deeper into the cracks of society. It's a deep and clever message that I haven't seen often.
