The classics are just what the name suggests for a reason. Rav Hirschs wisdom is as critical to raising a thinking Jew today as it was when he wrote it.
Ignore this Sefer at your peril. When your children ask you questions you don't know the answer too, or worse yet, don't bother to ask at all and assume that their ancestors sacrificed everything for nothing, it will be to late to familiarize yourself, and them, with the knowledge that could have not just prevented their desertion, but given them, and you, a life of meaning and blessing
