The best book in the best series !
This book and this series are as close to perfect as I have seen! The main thing is that they are GENTLE, fine, yet realistic books, an oasis in an increasingly slick, comic-inspired market. The kids are real, the problems, especially in this book, are gently and sensitively described, with satisfying endings. My 3 yr old playgroup loves them,as do my 7 yr old grandchildren. And the pictures are superb! Fine, fine artwork!
