And underlying the commentary is Rav Hirsch's unique approach to Lashon HaKrah: his profound analysis of the letters, root words, and structure of words found in Chumash.

Originally written in German, the English version has recently been thoroughly revised in a highly readable, clear, stylistic form, to great acclaim.

For those preferring to learn in Lashon Hakodesh, a new Hebrew version, using classical Hebrew understandable for both those in Chutz L’Aretz as well as in Eretz Yisroel, is now in the process of being published. This is the second volume of this new Hebrew edition.
