I believe that it is an important book because it can help clarify many issues for those involved in bringing closer other Jews to Judaism.
Most Jewish youth who might G-d forbid be involved in Buddhism, or any other foreign eastern religion G-d forbid, might out of ignorance think they can practice these foreign practices and incorrectly convince themselves that it does not contradict Yiddiskeit.
This book, in a candid and non-judgmental way can point them in the right direction, G-d willing, to practice authentic Judaism.
